Let's go! The left ladder leads to an enemy and the right ladder leads to a bolt. The Super Adaptor is useful here. Keep going up, punching fools from a safe distance and collecting bolts. There are two shielded enemies at the top, and a spot you'll need to slide through.
What. There aren't even any clouds here. Just like in Cloud Man's stage, these platforms are only visible within a certain radius of Mega Man. Take out the Metalls here. Put the Super Adaptor back on and grab the health if you want. Keep going right. Watch out for the birds. You can use the Metall to tell where the invisible platform before the ladder is, then fly to the ladder.
Up, up, up. The left ladder is the one to take. If you need that 1up, use Danger Wrap on the enemy, then climb the next ladder.
These conveyor belts are more obvious than the ones earlier. It's a good idea to use homing punches to clear your path of enemies. Avoid the spikes, obviously. Climb the ladder at the end and punch this mofo with the shield, and continue on to the next ladder.
Before going for that 1up, note these platforms with numbers. They're new versions of the bomb platforms. They're similar, except they move a short distance before they explode, so they can be ridden. Get up to the upper left platform with Rush Coil or Super Adaptor to reach the 1up. Keep the Super Adaptor with you in this area. It will help you reach every single bomb platform. The last one looks tricky, but you can reach the ladder before the bomb explodes. The path branches off here, depending on if you were successful or not. You definitely want to take the high road if you can. It is objectively easier and more fruitful.
High Road
If you manged to take the high road, hover over the spikes and get to the next ladder.
This next spot was made for Rush Jet. Wait for the first block to disappear before hopping on, then hold up to position yourself over the rest of the blocks. Your prize up here is an E-Tank, W-Tank, and S-Tank! Super rare. Hop down the pit with the Super Adaptor or by dropping onto the block below you when it appears.
Blast this guy quickly, like you did in Slash Man's stage. Drop down the hole.
Low Road
You'll drop down a narrow tunnel full of spikes. It's also underwater. Lovely. You'll need to move slightly left and then right to avoid the spikes. Keep a close eye on what's coming. You can use Rush Coil to reach the 1up at the bottom. Position him carefully, though. Head across the spiked pit using the Super Adaptor. Take out the Metalls as you go.
Yeah, it's this guy again. He's really easy if you use Junk Shield on him. You'll start floating again. Avoid the spikes on your way up. You can hop out of the water at the top to sink down low enough to collect the health. Hop out of the water and climb up.
The enemy here will leave on his own. Take the upper path to reach your reward for going the hard way: one measly E-Tank.
The paths converge here
Just in time for the boss.
HannyaNED² is weak to Slash Claw. The first thing to keep in mind is that you can jump on the missiles. This will help you reach the boss' big ol' face so you can scratch his eyes out. Pull his weave, too, while you're at it. When he uses his laser, it will sweep across the ground. Stay as far away as possible and it won't hit you. Keep in mind that this stage automatically scrolls, so getting to the far end takes longer than you might expect. When he swoops in for a kiss, hop up and scratch him. There's just enough space, if you're at the edge of the stage. Watch out for the bombs he drops at this point. They're easy to avoid, but they are coming. This boss isn't too tough once you realize that he just repeats the same pattern forever.
