Holy shit! Is this not the most pretentious show on TV now? Why are they trying so hard? The bitter intellectual attitude is way too affected.
Not to mention the sarcasm is so thick, I can't even tell whether or not they like what they're reviewing. Does anyone remember that Lullapalooza episode of the Simpsons? The one where they pan to an audience member and he says: "Well, I guess that's cool" in a really sarcastic way, and the guy next to him asks: "Are you being sarcastic?", and he says "I don't even know anymore." That's how bad (e)X(tended)-Play has gotten.
