Dragon's Dogma, Capcom's upcoming action RPG, will get the demo treatment on April 24 in North America and April 25 in Europe for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to a Capcom press release.
The demo allows players to test out two of the game's character classes in two "challenging encounters." The classes available? First, the Fighter: a melee specialist skilled in both attacking and counterattacking. Choose his encounter, and you'll battle your way though underground tunnels in a mission set before the "main game." Also available is the Strider, who's skilled with bows and knives, which he'll use to take down a Griffin in the demo. Players' parties will be filled out by three Pawns.
Capcom is really pushing Dragon's Dogma's character customization options, so the demo will also give players a taste of that. But making that taste even sweeter is the ability to take your demo character and export it to the full game. If none of this sounds cool to you, well, you could always buy the game to, well, play the Resident Evil 6 demo, I guess.
Dragon's Dogma hits shelves on May 22 in North America and May 25 in Europe.
