void tRrLM();++ //Void Terrarium++ brings the gobbledygook to PS5 this year
NIS America continues to faithfully localize titles that make no sense and seem designed to confound databases.
NIS America today announced it will publish void tRrLM();++ //Void Terrarium++ on the PlayStation 5 in North America, Europe, and Oceania later this year. The publisher also revealed details about a Limited Edition, currently available for preorder through the NISA Online Store.
void tRrLM();++ //Void Terrarium++, as the title suggests it might, begins as a girl named Toriko finds herself "on the brink of death." You nurse her to health and learn she may be the last of her kind. The last human, that is. This isn't a particularly hospitable world for those of us with soft flesh. She's extremely susceptible to the hostile environment. Thus it falls to a lone robot to venture into the wasteland and gather resources while battling machines and mutated creatures and (hopefully) piecing together the story of the human race.
The game, which is an RPG with Roguelike elements, released in 2020 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The revised PlayStation 5 version includes new outfits, hairstyles, emotes and diseases. That's everything a girl loves! Today's press release also promises an "all new environment" and faithfulness to the previous release.
As noted above, a Limited Edition is presently available for preorder. Its precise presentation hasn't been finalized, but should include the game itself, a soundtrack, 5 art cards, a collector's box and a sketch autographed by Masayuki Furuya. The limited edition retails for $54.99 USD, in case you wondered. I checked!
