The Missing Link available now to fill in some Deus Ex: Human Revolution shadows

Square-Enix dropped a gift today in the form of "The Missing Link," downloadable content for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Like most gifts provided by the games industry, this is one you'll need to pay for, but those who have been anxiously awaiting more adventures with lead character Adam Jensen probably won't mind.

Available for PC download, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the new content retails for 1200 Microsoft Points. That works out to $14.99, its price on both PC and the PlayStation Network. So yeah, it's a bit of an investment.

"We are thrilled to bring Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Missing Link to fans," said David Anfossi, the title's producer at Eidos Montreal. "This unique DLC provides an enhanced Deus Ex: Human Revolution experience with deeper insight into the conspiracy, visual improvements, new characters and enemies, and a twist on gameplay elements."

Tortured by Belltower agents and with his augmentations disabled (goodness!), Adam Jensen must escape from a freighter destined for an unknown location. In the process, he uncovers a new layer of conspiracy, befriends new allies and fights ruthless enemies to discover what was happening in the shadows during the events that transpired in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I still haven't gotten around to playing the standalone title, but I hear good things about it and we've posted a favorable review right here on this very site. You should read it or something.
