Capcom reveals Asura's Wrath pre-order bonuses
Gamers sometimes need a little extra motivation to pre-order upcoming games, and publishers are always quick to offer incentives for doing so. Capcom, always eager to please, has announced a number of pre-order bonuses for Asura's Wrath. These bonuses are sure to send fans trekking to reserve their copy of the game before it's release on February 21st.
Should the discerning action aficionado pre-order the highly anticipated action title from Amazon, they will be gifted the Devastator Pack. This pack adds two new gauges to the game. One reduces the damage Asura takes and the other allows him to more quickly fill his Unlimited Rage meter.
Customers who pre-order at Best Buy are instead promised the Infinity Pack. Included in this pack are the Extinguisher Mode and Zealot Mode. The former reduces the time spent recovering from overheating. In Asura's Wrath, overheating is the result of heavy attacks. Zealot Mode lets Asura remain in Unlimited Rage Mode for even longer, letting him more easily tear his foes to pieces.
As always, there is a GameStop pre-order bonus as well. This one is aimed at the art connoisseurs among us, as it features an comic and art book. The art is straight from CyberConnect2, featuring the sci-fi and Asian mythology elements that make the Asura's Wrath universe such an interesting and original setting. The comic, in contrast, is written and illustrated by the Penny Arcade crew and detailing the everyday frustrations a hero like Asura faces. Given its creators, the comic is sure to bring many laughs to its readers.
The new question is, of course, where eager fans should pre-order Asura's Wrath, as all three bonuses sound promising. Better hurry, you only have three months left to decide.
