Dragon's Dogma gets dated, includes Resident Evil 6 demo
Capcom will release Dragon’s Dogma into the wild this coming May, according to a company press release we received this morning.
As if one game full of dragons (that fly backward!) weren’t enough for you, Capcom will release Dragon’s Dogma into the wild this coming May, according to a company press release we received this morning. It’ll hit shelves May 22 in North America and May 25 in Europe for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The open world adventure title was revealed during last year’s CAPTIVATE event in Miami, and I daresay it looked like it had some potential. Visually, it's quite impressive, and, well, any fantasy-oriented world with dragons is at the very least intriguing to me. But even if you don’t agree, Capcom is trying to give you a bit of an incentive to pick the game up anyway. That incentive is a code that’ll give you access to a Resident Evil 6 demo.
But... there are a couple of details you should know about this RE6 demo: It’ll be available to Xbox 360 owners first on July 3, more than four months before the game’s Nov. 20 release. PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait about two more months -- until Sept. 4 (or Sept. 5 in Europe) -- to get their hands on the demo. The press release made no mention of a demo for folks who don’t purchase Dragon’s Dogma.
Much like Zone of the Enders before it, it looks like Dragon’s Dogma will split the world into two factions come May 22: those who actually want to play the game and those who just want to get their mitts on Leon Kennedy’s and Chris Redfield’s next zombie adventure. What side are you on?
