Gotham City Impostors gets another release date that is hopefully not an impostor
Warner Bros. announced today that Gotham City Impostors will finally see release next week.
We thought we'd have it by now, but it was nothing but a mirage -- a tease that kept us yearning for some quirky, Batz versus Jokerz action. Then came the delay. Such a mysterious delay it was, with its "unspecificity" and all.
But then came the light. Warner Bros. announced today that Gotham City Impostors will finally see release next week, on Feb. 7 for PC players and Feb. 8 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners.
Supporting up to 12 players, Impostors is a quirky, Batman-themed first-person shooter in which characters, dressed in costumes inspired by The Joker or Batman, run around and attempt to destroy each other -- while simultaneously destroying Gotham City, I presume. These characters will be highly customizable, ensuring gameplay diversity with various armor, weapon and gadget choices.
Surprisingly, I couldn't find any solid confirmation on the game's price, so I'm reaching out to Warner Bros. to ensure I get some accurate information. Stay tuned for that. Same Bat-time, same Bat-website... right?
