Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 review (WII)Reviewed on December 31, 2007The party’s over, folks. Evil aliens are about to blow up the planet. There’s nothing we can do; the forces at work here are beyond the likes of you and I. How are you going to spend your last few moments of your existence? Are you going to call your loved ones? How about a pointless looting spree? If you’re going to die, you might as well go out with a smile, right? Or maybe you’re going to collapse where you stand, shedding buckets of tears and begging whichever God you worship for salvation. ... |

Dino Crisis review (PSX)Reviewed on December 30, 2007Like zombies? Try dinosaurs! Dino Crisis was and is the answer to the question of, "If I can survive zombies, could I survive rampaging dinosaurs?" Okay, maybe that is question not many people, or gamers for that matter, tend to ask themselves but it raises a good point. Are zombies as deadly as dinosaurs? When compared to the thrilling game series that is Resident Evil, they tend to about equal in terms of deadly clawing and biting. Your enemies not only try and devour you for food but, also, b... |

Mega Man ZX Advent review (DS)Reviewed on December 30, 2007With the Mega Man series quickly approaching a triple-digit number of games, it's no secret that the Blue Bomber has been in an absolutely ridiculous number of games. It's also no secret that many of the hero's recent entries have been noticeably lacking for one reason or another. Mega Man ZX Advent represents a return to grace for the series and is one of the most enjoyable action-adventure titles on the DS. |

Heroes of Might and Magic V review (PC)Reviewed on December 29, 2007Throughout the series' history, Heroes of Might and Magic has asked one simple question: Might or Magic? Players of the turn-based strategy RPG have always had to deal with this dilemma, and this game isn't any different. Heroes V improves upon the old, combining the best features from all previous installments, but it also adds unique features all its own. |

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass review (DS)Reviewed on December 28, 2007When Nintendo tries something new with the Zelda series, it usually pays off. Moving to three dimensions in Ocarina of Time resulted in what many consider to be the best Zelda game of all time, and experimenting with an ultra-cute graphical style worked surprisingly well in The Wind Waker. Nintendo's at it again in the direct sequel to The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. What sets this apart from past games is that the entire g... |

Halo 3 review (X360)Reviewed on December 26, 2007When all is said and done, Halo 3 is more of the same, except there's much more of it going on this time around. And that's a good thing. |

Final Fantasy III review (SNES)Reviewed on December 25, 2007One of the most popular debates in gaming is determining the best Final Fantasy game. Many people claim VII or X to be the best, many people are also noobs and should be shot for saying such ignorant things. Now that the fanboy flames have been ignited, I present to you what I consider to be the best of the Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy VI. |

LocoRoco review (PSP)Reviewed on December 24, 2007LocoRoco are a blissful blob race that look over the plants of their estranged fantastical planet. The Moja fiends are invading, and as the Locoroco you've got a mission to fend off the Moja to keep your world alive. You'll be finding and eating as much pink fruit as possible so you can get fat. Once you're fat, you can summon bolts of lightning to separate your body into mini Roco's, then collectively sing a song to wake up various anthropomorphic moons, suns, and rectangles. You'll have to... |

Need for Speed: Most Wanted review (GBA)Reviewed on December 24, 2007This game is okay but I lost interest quickly. I got it expecting a fun NFS racing experience but ended up with nothing. First of all, the story is lame. There isn't any movie intro and all that you know about the story is what you read on the box. You have to compete in races to earn REP. When you have enough, you can compete in a boss race and if you beat him/her, you can move on to the next chapter. (There are 15 chapters in total.) On the first half of the chapters, there are only 3 races be... |

Catwoman review (XBX)Reviewed on December 23, 200799.999% of the people reading this review have either seen or heard about the horrendous Catwoman movie, and are coming into this review expecting it to be bashed. Though I hope the great majority of people enjoy the read, know that I'm not aiming it at them. No, this is for the .001, the one soul on the planet that is seriously thinking about buying this game. |

BioShock review (X360)Reviewed on December 23, 2007I’ll admit I wasn’t too interested in the game when it was announced and I wasn’t too impressed with the demo when I played it at my friend’s house. I’m not much of an FPS fan which is why I didn’t really care much for Bioshock, however I had a feeling that Bioshock would go on to be one of those games that wins like 20+ game of the year awards and I’d be pissed at every award because I never played the game, in the same way Gears of War and Knights of the Old Republic were. But now I can actu... |

LEGO Island 2: Brickster's Revenge review (PC)Reviewed on December 23, 2007This game was great when I was around the age level it was geared for. The puzzles were great and I never really lost interest in this game. This is how the story goes: There is an evil criminal called the Brickster that's finally caught after committing many crimes. When the police catch him, they put him in prison. After a while, he brakes out using an interesting strategy. I'll let you find that out for yourself. When he gets out, he creates havoc in the town and many other towns. Your name i... |

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade review (PC)Reviewed on December 22, 2007If World of Warcraft could be summed up into one phrase, it would be either "bait and switch" or "false advertising". To understand how horrid World of Warcraft really is, you must first see through all of the lies put forth by its developer, Blizzard. The first lie you'll run into is the classification of WoW as a video game. The second lie is that it's fun. The third lie is that it has actual content. Three lies, and we're not even past the box the game comes in. Get used to it, because there ... |

Mario Kart DS review (DS)Reviewed on December 22, 2007This game is a great addition to the whole Mario Kart series and I think that it's one of the best. I enjoyed this game a lot and I definitely got what I paid for. Not only is this game single player, but multi player too. Single card, multi card, and Wi-Fi are all available on this game so whether or not your friends have it, they'll still be able to appreciate the fun that this provides. However, on Wi-Fi, there isn't as much detail as there is with multi/single card download play. When people... |

Zone of the Enders review (PS2)Reviewed on December 22, 2007Imagine a situation wherein a group of terrorists captured, say, all of New York. With a small army of remote drones and actual soldiers, they don't sneak in, they flood in over the bridges and within minutes have control over the entire city. The situation is chaotic and fragile. People die, both intentional and unintentional deaths. Panic is widespread. The situation is...well, crazy, for the lack of a better word. |

Unreal Tournament review (PC)Reviewed on December 22, 2007The Unreal series originated in 1998 and was critically acclaimed for its single-player campaign, advanced AI and graphics, but its multiplayer mode was underdeveloped. This offering follows the traits of the original, but with a switched emphasis on multiplayer over single-player to rival its contemporaries such as Quake III Arena. Updates in 2003 and 2007 have updated the graphics drastically but still retain the same fundamental formula of open-ended arena blasting. |

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl review (PC)Reviewed on December 21, 2007S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl has to be one of the more unique first person shooters to be released on the market. The game combines the ideas of a traditional first person shooter, with a horror survival aspect, as well as some RPG roots. After a long period of waiting, will gamers be pleased to finally be able to explore "The Zone"? |

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men review (X360)Reviewed on December 21, 2007Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. A story about a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath. The title says it all: Kane and Lynch are dead men. The game comes from the creators of the Hitman franchise and Freedom Fighters. The game obviously comes from good stock, and the story appeared to be quite promising. So, how does the game hold up? |

Stranglehold review (X360)Reviewed on December 21, 2007In 1992, director John Woo released the cult action film Hard Boiled, forever to be known for it's stylish gunplay and a body count that set records in film history. Now, 15 years later, Chow Yun Fat and John Woo reunite to continue the story of Inspector Tequila, and to dispense their own brand of justice, with John Woo's unique sense of style. |
